This Akshay Kumar’s Biggest Comeback? Bhoot Bangla First Review OUT: 4 Stars, ‘Shocking Climax’ Leaves Fans Stunned!

The buzz around Bhoot Bangla is growing stronger with each passing day as the film nears its release. Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, the horror-comedy has already become one of the most talked-about Bollywood films of 2026. A major reason behind the excitement is Akshay’s reunion with filmmaker Priyadarshan after 16 years. Their last collaboration, Khatta Meetha, was loved for its humor, and fans are expecting similar entertainment this time.

Adding to the hype, an early unofficial review has surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), calling the film “pure entertainment.” The reviewer rated it 4 out of 5 stars, describing it as a “solid horror comedy with twists, laughs, and jump scares.” According to the post, the film has a fun first half, a gripping second half, and a shocking climax. It also praises performances by Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav, who are said to bring plenty of comic madness.

Originally scheduled for April 10, the release has now been pushed by a week. The film will begin paid previews on April 16 from 9 PM onwards. Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhoot Bangla has received a U/A 16+ certificate from the CBFC and has a runtime of 164.52 minutes.

The film also features Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. It is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with Cape of Good Films. Producers include Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.
