The reality show The 50 is once again making headlines, this time because of Rajat Dalal’s reaction to a comment made by Nikki Tamboli after Chahat Pandey’s eviction.

Rajat Dalal and Chahat Pandey’s growing closeness in The 50 had become a hot topic not only inside the house but also among fans on social media. Interestingly, during their earlier stint in Bigg Boss, the two maintained distance. However, in The 50, their bond appeared much stronger. Several contestants, including Rajat’s friends, often teased them about their chemistry.

After Chahat was eliminated, Nikki Tamboli playfully teased Rajat, saying, “Aapki bandi toh chali gayi,” hinting at their connection. Reacting to this, Rajat clearly denied having any special bond with Chahat. He said he could never date or marry her and added, “Didi (Sapna) se poochho… Didi, kya main non-Jatt se shaadi kar sakta hoon? Dekho, mere ghar wale… Main ek simple si baat bolta hoon, main sabki izzat karta hoon, na koi bada hai na koi chhota. Par mujhe meri nasal ki hi chahiye.” His statement suggested that he prefers to marry within his own community.

Despite his denial, Rajat had shown care and possessiveness towards Chahat during the show. In one episode, when Prince Narula hugged Chahat, Rajat questioned her, asking why she hugged him. Chahat clarified that she sees Prince as a brother, but Rajat still appeared upset. Contestants often teased them, especially during a task where Rajat placed books on Chahat’s head while others sang, “Waah waah Ram ji Jodi kya banayi…”
