A fresh controversy has erupted in the online creator community after reality show personality Maxtern strongly criticised YouTuber Anurag Dobhal over his recent emotional video about family issues.

Anurag Dobhal, who gained massive popularity through Bigg Boss 17, recently uploaded a shocking two-hour-long vlog on his YouTube channel. In the video, he alleged that he had been facing harassment and emotional torture from his own family. The vlog came shortly after he hinted on Instagram that he was going through a difficult phase in his personal life.

In the video, Anurag opened up about how drastically his life has changed in recent months. He said he never imagined that life would “throw him down like this and leave him shattered.” He also spoke about his difficult childhood and revealed that he was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 14. According to him, he also struggled with intense academic pressure from his family while trying to follow his dreams.

However, Anurag’s emotional vlog did not sit well with Maxtern, who is also known for appearing on the reality show The 50. Reacting to the video, Maxtern took to social media and wrote that he watched the entire two-hour video and felt that Anurag was simply doing “nautanki.” He also warned people not to fall for what he called “fake emotion,” urging viewers to “learn to read people.”

Meanwhile, in his vlog, Anurag also revealed that his family strongly opposed his inter-caste marriage. He claimed that just days before the wedding, his parents refused to attend the ceremony, forcing him to manage everything alone.

Sharing more painful details, he said he was made to fold his hands, touch feet and apologise in front of relatives. According to him, his parents allegedly told him that they would neither stay happy themselves nor let him stay happy.
