India’s new reality show The 50 kicked off with high drama as it premiered on February 1, 2026, on Colors TV and JioHotstar. The show, which started with 50 contestants, surprised viewers by eliminating one participant on the very first day. Vanshaj Singh became the first contestant to be evicted, bringing the count down to 49 in the opening episode itself.

Soon after his exit, Vanshaj expressed his frustration on social media and openly criticised fellow contestants Karan Patel and Prince Narula. His Instagram posts were sharp, emotional, and quickly went viral, triggering strong reactions from fans of the show.

Targeting Karan Patel, Vanshaj made a controversial remark, saying that Karan deserved to be sent to an old-age home and mocked him for his age. He wrote that Karan had earned a lifetime hater and added that he would keep reminding him of his name for the next ten years. The post drew mixed reactions, with some viewers supporting Vanshaj while others called the comment unnecessary and offensive.

Vanshaj also questioned Prince Narula’s decision during the elimination. He pointed out that The 50 is a task-oriented show and claimed he had performed well and helped his team. According to him, being voted out for having the least interaction did not make sense. In another post, he sarcastically accused both Karan and Prince of unfair gameplay and labelled them clowns.

Taking his criticism further, Vanshaj shared a long sarcastic message aimed at Prince Narula, accusing him of hypocrisy. In the post, he claimed that Prince manipulates young people, forms groups inside the show, plays politics, and eliminated him simply because he did not interact enough.

Adding to the controversy, Vanshaj later posted a screenshot of an alleged message from Prince Narula’s team. The message requested him not to spread further hate and to accept the eviction as part of the game. It also mentioned that Prince’s team was planning to post a supportive Instagram story for him.

Well, The 50, which promises intense drama and constant twists, will air daily for 50 days on Colors TV at 10:30 pm and will also stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm, keeping audiences hooked in the days ahead.
