Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna has spoken out in support of his wife Akanksha Chamola after she faced trolling on social media for her bold scenes in the web series Dil Dhokha Aur Desire. The actor made it clear that the criticism does not bother him and that he respects his wife’s choices as an artist.

Akanksha recently came into the spotlight for her role in the web series, where she appears in several intense and steamy scenes with actors Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Ali Hasan. Clips from the show quickly started circulating on social media, leading to mixed reactions from viewers. While many people appreciated her performance, some criticised her for doing bold scenes, which led to online trolling.

Gaurav addressed the controversy during a brief interaction with the media at Vineet Jain’s Holi party held in Juhu, Mumbai, on March 3. When asked about the trolling, the actor said it does not affect him and that he completely supports his wife.

“Mujhe koi farak nahi padta. She is a very strong girl. She lives life on her own terms. I never try to change her because I love her and accept her the way she is. Akanksha also accepts me the way I am and never stops me from doing what I like,” he said.

Akanksha also responded to the reactions and clarified that her husband was fully aware of the project before she took it up. According to her, there was nothing surprising about the scenes in the series.

“There was nothing shocking. Gaurav knew everything,” she said.

This is not the first time the couple has faced public debate. Earlier, Akanksha was criticised after Gaurav revealed that she does not currently want to become a mother. The statement sparked discussions online, but Gaurav later explained that the decision was something they had openly discussed before marriage.

Well, Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola got married in November 2016 and share a nine-year age gap. Despite occasional criticism on social media, the couple often talks about mutual respect and understanding in their relationship.
