The death of actress and television personality Shefali Jariwala in June 2025 once again became a topic of intense discussion after her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, made a shocking statement during a recent podcast. Shefali, who became a household name with the remix song “Kaanta Laga” and later appeared in several TV shows, passed away at the age of 42. At the time, her sudden death left fans and the industry in shock.

Soon after her demise, the internet was flooded with speculation and theories. However, medical reports clearly stated that Shefali died due to a heart attack, and official authorities found no reason to investigate further. Over the years, these findings have remained unchanged. Despite this, alternative and supernatural theories surrounding her death have continued to gain attention online.

During a podcast with Paras Chhabra Parag Tyagi openly spoke about his belief that black magic had been performed on his wife before her death. He firmly stated that this was not a guess but something he strongly believes in. Parag said that while many people may not believe in such things, he does. According to him, “Where there is God, there is also evil,” and he believes some people are unhappy not because of their own pain, but because of others’ happiness.

Parag further said, “Mujhe lagta nahi, mujhe pata hai kisi ne kiya hai. Main yeh nahi keh sakta kisne kiya, par kisine toh kiya hai.” He explained that he repeatedly felt that something was wrong, and this feeling occurred not once but twice. While Shefali survived the first time, Parag felt that the second time, whatever negative force was involved was much stronger. He admitted that he still does not fully understand what exactly happened.

Paras Chhabra added to the discussion by mentioning possible symptoms often associated with such beliefs, including lack of sleep, anxiety, depression, and dark circles. Their conversation hinted at emotional and behavioral changes that were observed in Shefali before June 2025.

Well, While Parag’s statements have reopened discussions around Shefali Jariwala’s death, it is important to note that official medical and legal conclusions still list a heart attack as the cause. Nonetheless, his emotional revelations have once again brought public attention to the tragic loss and the unanswered questions that continue to surround it.
