Reality TV star Divya Agarwal has spoken openly about her experience on the reality show The 50, criticizing the gameplay of fellow contestant Prince Narula and addressing rumors about her personal life.
Divya was evicted from the show earlier this month but later returned as a wild card contestant. In a candid interview, she described her overall experience as mixed. According to her, the format of the show did not suit her usual style of playing reality TV games. She also revealed that there was strong male domination in the house, which made it difficult for her to compete the way she normally does.
Inside the game, Prince Narula and Rajat Dalal were leading two major alliances, which reportedly dominated the rest of the contestants. Divya explained that she initially trusted Prince because they had an alliance and he had saved her multiple times in the game. However, she later felt that he was telling everyone they were his priority while secretly planning strategies behind their backs.
She said that if Prince had been clear about his real priorities, she and others could have formed a third alliance. Instead, whenever they tried to make independent moves, they were discouraged. Divya added that she respected Prince like a “big brother,” which is why she stayed quiet for a long time, but eventually felt his actions looked like a desperate attempt to win the show “by hook or by crook.”
Divya also criticized what she called a “regressive mentality” among the male contestants, saying the environment felt like going 10–20 years back. She claimed there was aggression and violence from the beginning, with contestants constantly at each other’s throats and no host present to control the situation. According to her, the lack of consequences made some contestants behave “like animals.”
As per sources, Divya Agarwal was approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15 after her first eviction from The 50. However, the former Bigg Boss winner declined the offer, stating that reality shows are “not her cup of tea” and she had earlier promised her fans she would step away from such formats.
Well, She also briefly addressed rumors about her separation from husband Apurva Padgaonkar while discussing her time on the show. Divya concluded by saying that after this experience, she is now done with reality TV for good.
