The buzz around Dhurandhar 2 is getting stronger with every passing day as fans eagerly wait for updates about the much-anticipated sequel. After the massive success of the first film, all eyes are now on who will join Ranveer Singh in the next chapter.

The original Dhurandhar proved to be a genuine blockbuster, collecting over Rs 13 billion worldwide following its theatrical release in India in December 2025. The film is also currently streaming on Netflix in the United Arab Emirates, where it continues to attract viewers. With such huge success, expectations from the sequel are naturally very high.

Recently, social media was flooded with rumours claiming that Emraan Hashmi would step into the role of the mysterious gangster “Bade Sahab.” The speculation began after a screenshot went viral on X, listing Hashmi as part of the cast. However, a closer verification revealed that his name does not appear on the official website or being confirmed.This has clarified that the casting rumour is false, and there has been no formal announcement regarding his involvement.

On the confirmed front, Yami Gautam is set to play a key role in the film. Reports suggest her character will have an important connection to director Aditya Dhar’s spy-action universe, making her one of the major new additions to the story.

Another name doing the rounds is Raj Zutshi, who is rumoured to portray a Pakistani general, though this too remains unconfirmed.

Well, Dhurandhar 2 is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, around Eid. The trailer is expected to arrive in the first week of March, likely on March 5, as the makers prepare to build excitement for what promises to be a darker, bigger and more action-packed sequel.
