Rani Mukerji charms Ahmedabad as she promotes Mardaani 3 on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti!

Rani Mukerji is reprising her hugely lauded role of a daredevil police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3 - a film that fans and audiences are hailing as a must watch film ever since its trailer broke the internet.

The Mardaani 3 trailer has gone viral due to its incredibly relevant theme of young girls being kidnapped from across the country. The film somehow mirrors the recent development of scores of young girls going missing from various parts of India and this has struck a chord amongst people and movie-goers.

Unanimous praise has been pouring in for the film from all quarters and Rani witnessed this first hand when she visited Ahmedabad on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Rani told people in Ahmedabad, “I’m so happy to be in Gujarat, to be in Ahmedabad on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. It is such an auspicious date and I am thrilled to see the love for Mardaani here. Thank you so much for giving me, my film this kind of love. It is really precious. Thank you.”

Rani visited a girl’s college to discuss the issue of safety for women in India, she took part in kite flying at the haloed International Kite Festival that happened in Ahmedabad, she also interacted with female cops in the state and thanked them for their incredible service to society.

Mardaani 3 is set to release in theatres on Jan 30th worldwide.
