With his strong reality show background that includes Roadies, Splitsvilla and Ace of Space, fans were certain that he would soon be seen on another major reality show. Reports suggested that Baseer was approached for the upcoming show The 50, which has already created a lot of buzz. However, the actor and reality TV star surprised everyone by turning down the offer. While many believed that his decision was only because of Khatron Ke Khiladi, Baseer has now revealed that the reason goes much deeper.

In a recent conversation with media , Baseer spoke openly about why he chose to say no to The 50. He shared that the offer came immediately after Bigg Boss 19, and he personally felt that he was not ready to dive into another reality show so soon. According to him, it wasn’t about rejecting a particular show, but about understanding his own emotional, physical and mental state. Baseer explained that reality shows demand a lot of energy, and without proper recovery time, it becomes difficult to give one’s best.

He further explained his thought process by saying that entering a show with only half the energy is unfair, both to himself and to the format. If others are coming in fully charged while he is already drained, the journey would only get harder. This is why he felt the need to pause, rebuild himself and come back stronger rather than rushing into another intense experience.

Baseer did confirm that Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi is definitely on his radar. He admitted that the stunt-based reality show is something he would love to be a part of and wants to conserve his energy to see if the opportunity comes his way this year. That said, he made it clear that Khatron Ke Khiladi was not the sole reason behind rejecting The 50.

On the professional front, Baseer assured his fans that he hasn’t stopped trying. He is actively reaching out for various projects and remains optimistic. Sharing a light-hearted yet confident thought, he said that out of many opportunities, at least one is bound to work out in his favour. He also added that he doesn’t want to box himself into one category, as acting and music videos have already proven fruitful for him.

Well, With a positive mindset and an open approach to work, Baseer Ali is choosing patience over pressure, believing that the right opportunity will come at the right time.
