“It Feels Like a Play Date,” says Samridhii Shukla on ‘Haathi Ghoda Paal Ki Birthday Kanhaiya Lal Ki’ Janmasthami Celebration!

Samridhii Shukla, who essays the role of Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, shared her delight, being part of the celebration, she said, “It was a very memorable experience. It was a lot of fun, like all the other events we’ve had. I think Star Plus really knows how to pamper us, and it feels like an excursion day, almost like a picnic. It’s a great opportunity to meet everyone, just hang out, and have a gala time. The activities and events they plan never feel like work; it’s like a play date for all of us.”

Speaking about her personal memories of Janmashtami, Samridhii recalled, “One of my fondest memories is walking through my colony and seeing Dahi Handi in every lane. We used to have snacks, beverages, and so much fun with friends. The night before at 12: 00 AM on Kanhaji's birthday, my parents would take me to the temple for bhajans. That's one of my earliest and most cherished memories of celebrating Janmashtami.”
