Actress Neha Dhupia has finally put an end to the rumours about her participation in The Traitors India Season 2. The reality show, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, is currently being filmed in Rajasthan, with several celebrity names doing the rounds online as possible contestants.

Neha, who was widely speculated to be joining the show, addressed the buzz on Wednesday (March 25). Taking to social media, she clarified that she is not part of the upcoming season. In a playful post, she wrote, “Neither am I a ‘traitor’ nor am I an ‘innocent’. I’m just too busy going on #DOUBLEDATE S Coming soon.” Along with denying the rumours, she also teased an upcoming project, sparking curiosity among her fans.

Meanwhile, excitement around the contestant lineup continues to grow. Actress Krystle D'Souza is reportedly set to join the show. According to reports, names like Rhea Chakraborty, Shalini Passi, Munawar Faruqui, and Mallika Sherawat are also expected this season. Popular YouTuber Abhishek Malhan and comedian Aaditya Kulshrestha were even spotted arriving at Suryagarh Resort in Jaisalmer on March 23.

The first season of the show premiered on Amazon Prime Video and was renewed even before its finale aired on July 3, 2025. It was jointly won by Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther.

Well, Season 1 featured a diverse lineup including Raj Kundra, Purav Jha, Sufi Motiwala, Anshula Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Raftaar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jannat Zubair, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Lakshmi Manchu, among others.
