The actress has now clarified that the assumptions were far from the truth.

In an interaction with the media, Akanksha stated that there is no trouble between her and Gaurav. She explained that the post had nothing to do with her personal life and was actually shared to promote her upcoming series. According to her, the message was open to interpretation, but it was unnecessarily blown out of proportion. She also mentioned that she does not usually talk about her private life on social media and prefers to keep such matters away from public discussion.

After the post went viral, Akanksha faced heavy online trolling. Some users even connected the divorce rumours to her previously stated views on not wanting to become a mother. Akanksha further shared that Gaurav is more guarded by nature because he wants to protect her image. She also spoke about their age difference, saying Gaurav is mature enough to understand and respect her point of view. She made it clear that she does not see herself choosing motherhood and does not feel the need to justify her decision to anyone.

Well, Akanksha and Gaurav first met during an audition when she was new to the television industry and did not recognise Gaurav, who was already an established actor at the time. The couple eventually fell in love and tied the knot on November 24, 2016, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
