Recently evicted contestant Sagar Thakur, better known as Maxtern, has stirred controversy after giving a fiery interview about his fellow contestants on The 50. The reality show, which is currently streaming on JioCinema and Colors TV, brings together 50 celebrities from different fields inside the Lion’s Den.
In his interview, Maxtern openly criticized Elvish Yadav and Archit Kaushik. He claimed that his name was mentioned in different reality shows and jokes even when he was not involved. Calling it “simple logic,” Maxtern said that if someone drags his name unnecessarily, he will respond in the same way. He clarified that he never intended to start any fight and had already stated that he would not react unless provoked. However, if the other person continued, he would give a reply.
Maxtern also addressed what he described as Archit playing the “mummy victim card” inside the show. He said he does not like when false information is spread about him and accused both Elvish and Archit of spreading lies. He added that their fans believed these claims and targeted him. Maxtern strongly stated that he never abuses anyone’s parents and does not support such behavior.
He further explained that the controversy did not begin with him, as he had only replied to a tweet by Nitish Rajput. He also extended support to Abhishek Malhan, saying that Elvish’s Gawaar fans provoked and harassed him.
Well Earlier, Vanshaj Singh became the first contestant to be evicted. The grand finale of The 50 is reportedly scheduled for March 22, 2026.
