First Arrest Made Months Later: Man Who Asked Akshay Kumar’s Daughter for Nudes Finally Caught! Here's what happened!

The Maharashtra Cyber department has made its first arrest in a disturbing cyber harassment case involving actor Akshay Kumar’s 13-year-old daughter. The incident, which came to light in October last year, highlights the growing dangers children face in online spaces, especially gaming platforms.

Speaking at the Cyber Awareness Month 2025 event held at the State Police Headquarters in Mumbai, Akshay Kumar had shared the shocking experience. He revealed that his daughter was playing an online video game where players interact with strangers. Initially, the conversation seemed normal, with polite messages like “Well played” and “You are doing so good.” The stranger then casually asked where she was from, and she replied “Mumbai.”

However, the conversation soon took a disturbing turn. The person asked whether she was male or female, and after she responded “female,” he shockingly requested her to send a nude picture. Thankfully, Kumar’s daughter immediately exited the chat and informed her mother.

The actor stressed how such incidents often escalate into serious cyber crimes, including extortion and even cases leading to suicides. He urged parents and children to stay alert and aware in the digital world. Kumar also appealed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to introduce weekly cyber awareness classes in schools.

Following his revelation, authorities launched an investigation using digital tracking and technical analysis, leading to the arrest of the accused. Officials are now questioning him to determine if he targeted other children.

Well, The incident has since been used in awareness sessions across Mumbai colleges, educating students about online safety, cyber bullying, phishing, and financial fraud prevention.
