Get ready, Bigg Boss fans! The much-awaited reality show Bigg Boss 19 is all set to hit your TV screens from August 24, and this time it’s bringing in a wave of new changes. Hosted by the ever-popular Salman Khan, the new season is already creating a buzz with its unique theme and fresh format.

The theme for this season is “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar”, where the housemates will take charge of all decisions inside the house. Unlike previous seasons, Bigg Boss will take a backseat and let the contestants run the show. Salman Khan revealed in the promos that the housemates will rule the house, make rules, and even form a government-like setup. But they’ll also have to be smart, because their decisions will be judged by both Bigg Boss and the audience.

As per the new format, the contestants will be divided into two teams – the Ruling Party and the Opposition. The show will include elections, and a leader will be chosen who will then appoint ministers. This exciting twist is expected to bring in lots of strategy, drama, and power games.

Another big change is in the nominations and eliminations. This season, housemates will not only nominate their fellow contestants but will also have the power to eliminate them directly. The idea is to make the show unbiased, unscripted, and full of raw, real drama.

Only 15 beds will be available in the house, which means there will be 15 contestants to start with. There will be no double beds, and wild card entries will join later in the season. Interestingly, this time the show might also feature a UAE-based robot named Habubu and India’s first AI influencer, Kavya Mehra as housemates.

Several celebrities have been approached to join Bigg Boss 19. These include Sharad Malhotra, Faisal Shaikh (Mr Faisu), Dhanashree Verma, Sreeram Chandra, Shailesh Lodha, Gaurav Khanna, Meera Deosthale, Mamta Kulkarni, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Rati Pandey, Hunar Hali, Mallika Sherawat, Meenakshi Seshadri, Tanushree Dutta, Shraddha Arya, and Dheeraj Dhoopar.
