Colors TV is ready to introduce a brand-new reality show titled ‘The 50’, and it is already creating a lot of buzz. The first look of the show has been revealed, confirming that Farah Khan will host it. While many viewers are comparing it to Bigg Boss, the makers have made it clear that The 50 is completely different and brings a fresh concept to Indian non-fiction television.

As shared by Alok Jain from JioHotstar in a recent conversation with popular media platform, the show will feature 50 celebrity contestants on a single platform. These contestants will participate in fun, challenging, and entertaining tasks Over time, eliminations will take place, and after nearly 50 episodes, one contestant will emerge as the final winner. According to the makers, this show has the potential to change how reality shows are viewed in India.

The 50 will premiere on 1 February and audiences can watch it at 9 PM on JioHotstar and at 10:30 PM on Colors TV. The show is expected to be shot in Dubai, adding scale and glamour to the production.

Several well-known celebrities have been approached for the show, including Karan Patel, Riddhi Dogra, Mallika Sherawat, Vivian Dsena, Jay Bhanushali, Dhanashree Verma, Yuzvendra Chahal, Pratik Sehajpal, Nikki Tamboli, Rakhi Sawant, Aly goni , and Sreesanth. While the final contestant list has not been officially announced yet, the names have already raised curiosity among fans.

The biggest highlight of The 50 is its unique audience participation format. Viewers will be allowed to choose their favorite contestants based on their initial performances. Once a choice is locked, contestants will compete for their fans’ love and support. Audiences can follow their chosen contestant and place their support behind them.

What makes the show truly different is that the audience can also win money. If viewers correctly support the contestant who eventually wins the show, they will receive a share of the prize money. This means the winner won’t play alone — they will play for their fans

Overall, The 50 promises 50 celebrities, around 50 episodes, exciting eliminations, and a never-seen-before twist where fans are as important as the contestants. With Farah Khan hosting and a bold interactive format, the show is set to become one of the most talked-about reality shows of the year.
