The drama inside the Bigg Boss 19 house is heating up as emotions run wild during this week’s captaincy task. In the latest promo released by the makers, viewers get a glimpse of a major fight between contestants Baseer Ali and Abhishek Bajaj, which has now taken social media by storm.
This week, Amaal Mallik and Abhishek Bajaj are competing for the position of captain. For the task, housemates have been split into Team Red and Team Blue, with Baseer showing strong support for Amaal. The task, though not fully revealed yet, appears to involve blackboards where contestants must write something — possibly related to votes or points.
The promo shows a heated moment when Abhishek tries to write on Team Blue’s blackboard, but Baseer blocks him by holding the board. Abhishek immediately calls him out, saying, “You can’t hold the board.” In response, Baseer argues that Abhishek’s role is only to write, not control how the board is handled.
Things quickly escalate from verbal to physical. Baseer accuses Abhishek of throwing him aside, and the two exchange harsh words. At one point, Baseer angrily calls Abhishek a "loser", leading to a fierce verbal spat. In a shocking end to the promo, Baseer throws Abhishek’s blackboard into the swimming pool, clearly frustrated and out of control.
The makers captioned the promo with:
“Ghar mein chhid gayi hai ek aur jung, Abhishek aur Baseer ki takraar ke beech kaun banega naya captain? Dekhiye #BiggBoss19, Mon-Sun raat 9 baje @jiohotstar aur 10:30 baje #Colors par.”
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Abhishek has been under the spotlight. Last week, he was slammed by contestant Farrhana Bhatt for lifting her during a task without her consent. Abhishek immediately apologized, touched her feet, and showed genuine remorse.
During Weekend Ka Vaar, host Salman Khan defended Abhishek, saying the act seemed unintentional and that his repeated apologies proved his sincerity.
Former Bigg Boss contestant and Abhishek’s friend Rohan Mehra also came out in support, tweeting:
“We all know his intentions were never wrong. Yes, he made a mistake but he apologized and we are all proud of him.”
Well, As tensions rise, fans are eagerly waiting to see who will emerge as the next captain of the house — and how this explosive fight will impact the game ahead.
