Fans of Indian reality TV have a lot to look forward to as popular celebrities Karan Patel, Archana Gautam, Divya Aggarwal, and social media star Faisal Shaikh, popularly known as Faisu, have been confirmed as contestants on the upcoming show The 50. According to sources, a huge set has already been built in Mumbai’s Madh Island area for this star-studded reality series.

Karan Patel, famous for his roles in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, is no stranger to reality shows. He has appeared in Nach Baliye 3, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 .Excited about joining the show, Karan shared on Instagram, “Ek sher ko dusre sher ka bulawa aaya hai, Excitement bhi hai aur sawal bhi.”

Archana Gautam rose to fame as the third runner-up of Bigg Boss 16. She has also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, Celebrity MasterChef India 1, and Reality Ranis of the Jungle 2.

Divya Aggarwal is a well-known face in reality TV, having been the runner-up of MTV Splitsvilla 10 and the winner of Ace of Space 1 and Bigg Boss OTT 1. She made her acting debut in the horror web series Ragini MMS: Returns 2.

Faisu became popular through content creation and his group ‘Team 07’, which includes friends Hasnain Khan, Adnaan Shaikh, and Faiz Baloch. Their 2018 music video Tera Jaisa Yaar Kahan on YouTube helped him gain wide recognition.

Produced by Banijay Asia, The 50 is set to be India’s next big reality show, streaming soon on JioHotstar and Colors. Adapted from the French series Les Cinquante, the show features 50 contestants living in a lavish palace with no fixed rules, promising unpredictable drama, strategy, and intense competition.

She commented, “Badalne waali hai reality shows ki reality,” and humorously questioned why she hasn’t been called to be part of India’s biggest reality show yet.
