One of the biggest mysteries surrounding the show is the identity of the “lion,” a figure expected to play a crucial role by guiding the rules and overall structure of the game. A newly released promo has added more intrigue, as Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn makes an appearance, leading many to wonder if he could be the lion of The 50.

In the promo, Ajay Devgn is seen watching a teaser of The 50 on his television. Moments later, his phone starts buzzing with calls from people asking if he is the lion of the show. Responding with his signature humour, Ajay dismisses the rumours by saying, “Nahi yaar, mai nahi hoon The 50 ka Lion.” He further jokes that while he can manage small pranks, the show seems quite controversial for him.

Adding to the fun, Ajay quips, “Main vardi wala Lion hoon,” while striking his iconic Singham pose. When the idea of handling fifty contestants comes up, he laughs and says, “Main 5 logon ki party mein bhi nahi jaata.” He then draws a clear line, saying for the last time that he is not the lion of The 50.

The promo quickly grabbed attention online, with fans reacting enthusiastically. The 50 is set to premiere on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Viewers can watch the show at 10:30 pm on Colors TV, while it will also be available for streaming at 9:00 pm on Jio Hotstar.

So far, the confirmed contestants of the show include Karan Patel, Faisal Shaikh, Divya Agarwal, Shiny Doshi, Monalisa and Vikrant, Dushyant Kukreja, Rudra Rana, and Chai. According to reports , several other contestants are reportedly confirmed but not officially announced yet. These names include Archana Gautam, Chahat Pandey, Digvijay Rathee, Shrutika Arjun, Bebika Dhurve, Nikita Bhamidipati, Mridul Tiwari, and Nehal Chudasama.
