The wait is finally over as Bigg Boss 19 is all set to premiere on August 24, and fans couldn't be more excited. Host Salman Khan, known for his larger-than-life presence, is seen dressed as a politician in the promo. He introduces the concept of ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’, where for the first time, housemates will get to rule inside the Bigg Boss house.

Salman Khan will reportedly divide the contestants into two teams – the ruling party and the opposition – during a fun activity on the premiere night itself. Each week, both teams will nominate one contestant who will then compete to become the leader, or the Sarkaar, of the house. But unlike previous seasons, the leader will be selected through a ballot vote, giving the show a political flavor. Once elected, the leader will have several responsibilities and powers. He or she will assign duties not only to their own team but also to the opposition. The leader will also appoint ministers, such as kitchen minister or bedroom minister, to help manage different areas of the house. In another twist, the teams will be given secret tasks, and only after completing them will they earn ration and supplies for the week.

Adding even more spice to the season, Bigg Boss 19 is set to feature some very unique contestants. For the first time ever, the show will include a UAE-based robot named Habubu and India’s first AI influencer, Kavya Mehra, as participants. This unusual pairing of technology and entertainment has already caught public attention. Along with them, the makers have reportedly approached several well-known faces including Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Rati Pandey, Hunar Hali, Mallika Sherawat, Meenakshi Seshadri, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Sreeram Chandra, Meera Deosthale, Mamta Kulkarni, Tanushree Dutta, Shraddha Arya, and Dheeraj Dhoopar.
