In a major alert for fans and aspiring contestants, the makers of Bigg Boss have issued an official notice warning the public against fake casting calls and rising scam cases. Production house Endemol Shine India (Endemol India Private Limited) clarified that they are not associated with any casting agency for Bigg Boss or any of their other shows.

The statement clearly mentions that the company has not appointed, authorised, or engaged any casting agency, and has no ties with organisations like Vedika Production House or the Instagram handle @the50_reality_showThese names were specifically highlighted as examples of entities falsely approaching people by pretending to represent the show.

The makers warned that such individuals are acting fraudulently and urged people to stay cautious. They emphasized that EndemolShine India never asks for money for casting, and anyone making payments or sharing personal information with such unauthorised parties does so at their own risk. The company also stated that it holds no responsibility in such cases.

This alert comes after reports of scams, including a shocking Rs 10 lakh fraud case, where impersonators tricked victims through fake casting messages. According to the production team, the actual casting process is handled internally, without any third-party involvement.

This is not the first time such warnings have been issued. Leading production houses like Balaji Telefilms have also previously cautioned people about similar scams.

With Bigg Boss continuing to be one of India’s biggest reality shows across multiple languages—and the Hindi season set to return soon—the makers have urged everyone to rely only on official and verified channels for updates and casting information.
