Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna has finally addressed the rumours surrounding his prize money and confirmed that he has received the full Rs 50 lakh cash reward. The actor’s clarification comes after speculation spread online suggesting that the payment had been delayed.

The rumours started after a clip from one of Khanna’s vlogs began circulating widely on social media. In the video, the actor appeared to indicate that he had not yet received the prize money after winning the reality show hosted by Salman Khan. This led many fans to question whether there had been a delay in the payment from the makers.

However, speaking about the issue in a recent interview, Khanna clarified that the clip was taken completely out of context and was recorded much earlier.

“Actually, this is being blown out of proportion. It's from a vlog that was recorded nearly 40 days ago when I was travelling to my hometown during the winters. But it got released only recently, so people assumed it was a new recording. It isn't,” he explained.

The actor further reassured fans that the issue has already been resolved and he has received the full amount.

“I have, in the meantime, received my full prize money. Also, in television, these timelines take some time. I had clearly mentioned this in the vlog without blaming anyone. So kindly avoid hyping this up,” Khanna added.

Reflecting on his victory, Khanna shared that the reality show has changed how people recognise him in public. According to the actor, it feels special when people call him by his real name rather than the characters he played.

Earlier, audiences mostly knew him through his roles like Abir, Sharman, Kavin, and Anuj Kapadia. But after winning Bigg Boss 19, that has changed.

Khanna also said it is still too early to judge how the show will impact his professional career, but personally the recognition has been overwhelming.

He lifted the Bigg Boss 19 trophy by defeating fellow finalists Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik.

Well, With the rumours now put to rest, Khanna says he is grateful for the love and support he has received from fans ever since his Bigg Boss 19 victory.
