WOW! Bollywood actor Salman Khan has come out in support of Rajpal Yadav after an awkward moment at the Chetak Screen Awards recently grabbed attention online. Rajpal, who has been dealing with a legal controversy involving a ₹9 crore cheque bounce case, attended the event despite the ongoing situation.

During the awards show, the host took a dig at Rajpal while discussing currency fluctuations. The host remarked that no matter how much the dollar and rupee fluctuate, Rajpal would still have to repay the same amount he owes. Instead of reacting negatively, Rajpal handled the comment with a smile, earning praise from social media users for his calm and composed response.

Following this, Salman Khan publicly supported Rajpal through a post on X. He praised Rajpal’s 30-year-long career, saying that he has consistently delivered value in his work and will continue to receive opportunities. Salman also encouraged him to focus on his craft and not be affected by such remarks, adding that sometimes things are said in the flow and should not be taken to heart.

Rajpal Yadav was earlier sent to Tihar Jail in February in connection with the ₹9 crore debt case. However, he was granted interim bail on February 16 and has since resumed his professional commitments. The Delhi High Court later clarified that he would not be taken back into custody even after the interim order was vacated.

Well, On the work front, Rajpal is preparing for the release of his upcoming film “Bhooth Bangla,” co-starring Akshay Kumar and Tabu. The film is set to release on April 17, with paid previews starting from April 16 at 9 pm.
