Big Names, Bigger Betrayals! Is Shalini Passi Joining Rhea Chakraborty in The Traitors India Season 2? From Mallika Sherawat to Sanjay Kapoor Big Star Cast Revealed?

The buzz around The Traitors India Season 2 is growing stronger, but fans should know that the contestant list is still not officially confirmed.

Hosted once again by Karan Johar, the hit reality show is already in production. Just like Season 1, filming is taking place at the grand Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. The previous season aired from June 12 to July 3, 2025, featuring 20 celebrities competing in a thrilling game of trust, betrayal, and strategy. The show is based on the Dutch format De Verraders.

Season 1 winners, Nikita Luther and Uorfi Javed, took home a combined prize of ₹70.5 lakh. Interestingly, Season 2 was announced just days after the premiere of Season 1, with Karan Johar calling it a “record turnaround.”

Now As per multiple reports, the rumoured contestant list for Season 2 includes names like Elvish Yadav, Munawar Faruqui, Shalini Passi, Rhea Chakraborty, Mallika Sherawat, Sanjay Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, Abhishek Malhan, Aaditya Kulshreshtha, Shweta Tiwari, and Krystle D'Souza.

There were also rumours about Neha Dhupia joining the show, but she denied it on Instagram, joking that she’s “too busy going on DOUBLEDATES.”

The show has been officially confirmed at a slate launch event, and production is progressing in Jaisalmer. It’s also expanding with a Telugu version hosted by Teja Sajja.

Well, While no premiere date or final contestant list has been announced yet, excitement continues to build as fans eagerly wait for more updates.
