Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has returned home after being discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday, March 17. According to reports, he reached home around 10 a.m., surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Salim Khan had been admitted to the hospital exactly a month earlier, on February 17, after suffering a minor brain haemorrhage. The news of his health scare quickly became a major topic of concern among fans and the film industry. During his stay, he was kept under close observation in the intensive care unit (ICU), where doctors monitored his condition carefully.

Throughout this period, Salman Khan and other family members made frequent visits to the hospital. Several celebrities also dropped by to check on his health and offer support. Updates about his recovery were occasionally shared, including a recent statement by his son Arbaaz Khan. While speaking to reporters at an iftar gathering, Arbaaz said, “He’s better now, he’s improving,” reassuring everyone about his father’s progress.

Doctors had earlier confirmed that Salim Khan’s condition was stable, and over time, he showed significant improvement. After a month of treatment and recovery, he was finally cleared to return home.

There were also reports that the Khan family was unhappy when the hospital initially released a medical bulletin about his condition. Following this, the family requested privacy, and the hospital stopped sharing further updates.

Well Now, with Salim Khan back home and recovering well, the situation has brought relief and happiness to his family, friends, and fans.
