Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka is already creating a huge buzz even before its release, thanks to its star-studded cast and massive budget. The film features Allu Arjun, Deepika Padukone, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and is reportedly being made on a grand scale with a budget of over ₹700 crore.

Recently, the film grabbed attention after reports about the actors’ fees surfaced online. According to reports , Allu Arjun is said to be earning a whopping ₹175 crore for the project. The actor is reportedly playing multiple roles in the film, including a cop, a father, and even a half-human, half-monster character, which hints at a unique and intense storyline.

Deepika Padukone, who plays a key role in the film, is reportedly being paid ₹25 crore. This makes her earning seven times less than Allu Arjun. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is said to be receiving around ₹5 crore for her role, which is four times less than Deepika’s remuneration.

On Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers unveiled a poster from the film, giving fans a glimpse into its world. The poster showed the actor with his face partly covered in fur and a tusk-like feature, suggesting a fierce and powerful character. The team shared the poster with the caption, “#AA22xA6 is now #Raaka Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits.”

Apart from the main trio, reports suggest that Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor might also be part of the film in important roles.

Well, Backed by Sun Pictures, Raaka is currently in production. The next shooting schedule is expected to begin soon in Mumbai, and if everything goes as planned, the film could be completed by the end of 2026.
