The teaser of Sumbul Touqeer’s Jhaad Phook is out and we are spooked!

Bollywood fans have something chilling to look forward to as actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan dropped the much-awaited teaser of her upcoming film Jhaad Phoonk. The teaser, released on her Instagram handle, follows the poster reveal that had already sparked curiosity among her fans.

“JHAAD_PHOONK FIRST GLIMPSE OUT NOW – WINTER 2025 RELEASE... The initial look of #JHAADPHOONK is here,” Sumbul captioned the post while sharing the teaser with her followers.

The teaser gives a sneak peek into a mysterious, horror-laced storyline. Opening with Sumbul’s character, it shows her observing her surroundings with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. With visuals of sacred rituals, chants, and a hint of dark magic in the background, the film promises to blend supernatural elements with gripping suspense. Produced by Niiv Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd., Jhaad Phoonk has been shot extensively in Uttarakhand, adding to its raw and eerie setting.

For Sumbul, this film marks a much-awaited comeback to the silver screen after nearly six years. She was last seen in Article 15 in 2019, and since then has been active in the television space. Currently, she is also seen in the series Itti Si Khushi.

Sumbul is already a household name in Hindi television, thanks to her powerful portrayal of Imlie Chaturvedi Rathore in Imlie and IAS officer Kavya Bansal Pradhan in Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon. She also made headlines with her stint in Bigg Boss 16, where she created history as the first teenager and youngest contestant to remain in the house for more than 100 days.

Now, with Jhaad Phoonk, the actress is all set to step into the world of horror and thrillers, and the teaser hints at a gripping cinematic experience that could mark an exciting new chapter in her career. The film also stars Rajan Verma, Padmini Kolhapure and Harsh Rajput.
