Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently grabbed headlines after accepting an apology from paparazzi during the success party of Raja Shivaji in Mumbai. The incident came just a day after the actor strongly criticised sections of the media for allegedly invading his privacy during a hospital visit.

On Wednesday night, Salman arrived at the success celebration where several photographers surrounded him and repeatedly said “sorry” while trying to greet him. Hearing the commotion, the actor leaned forward and asked what had happened. Once he realised the paparazzi were apologising for their behaviour, Salman calmly acknowledged them and gestured that everything was fine, indicating that tensions had eased.

The event was attended by many celebrities including Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Siddharth Jadhav, Mahesh Manjrekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Sachin Khedekar and Jitendra Joshi among others.

Earlier, Salman had shared a series of emotional posts on social media expressing disappointment over the behaviour of some photographers outside the hospital. In one post, he wrote that he had always respected the press and ensured they could “earn their bread and butter,” but criticised those trying to “enjoy” someone’s pain for content and attention.

The actor also warned against insensitive behaviour and questioned whether anyone would like similar treatment during difficult times involving their own family members. In another viral post, Salman reminded everyone that even at 60, he had not forgotten how to fight back.
