According to reports, the threatening message warned of possible bomb blasts before June 6 and also carried strong pro-Khalistan content. The email allegedly stated that “whoever helps Diljit Dosanjh will be killed,” creating panic among authorities and fans alike.

Reports further claimed that the sender referred to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and included inflammatory separatist remarks in the message. In another shocking warning, the email also threatened to blow up the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Mayor’s office, forcing officials to immediately increase security measures in the city.

Punjab Police, along with intelligence agencies, cybercrime units, and forensic teams, have now launched a full investigation to trace the origin of the email and identify the person behind it. So far, no explosives or suspicious objects have been found, but authorities are treating the matter with utmost seriousness due to the sensitive timing.

Security has been tightened across important locations in Ludhiana and other sensitive areas of Punjab. Officials are also reviewing safety arrangements at public places and government buildings. The timing of the threat has raised additional concerns because June marks the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, a deeply significant and emotional period in Punjab’s history.
