The controversy surrounding Don 3 has taken another dramatic turn, and this time, Salman Khan has reportedly stepped in to calm things down between Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar. According to reports, Salman personally spoke to both Ranveer and Farhan and urged them to resolve their issues peacefully for the sake of the film and the industry.

Sources claim that Salman shares a close bond with both Ranveer Singh and the Akhtar family. During his conversations, the actor reportedly explained to Farhan that creative differences are common in the film industry and should not damage relationships or future projects. Salman also had a long discussion with Ranveer to understand his side of the story. Insiders say Salman is trying to “play cupid” so that no one feels hurt or sabotaged in the process.

Reports further suggest that Salman advised both parties to settle the matter privately without involving any third party or film body.

The Don 3 issue has become one of Bollywood’s biggest controversies this year. According to reports, Ranveer Singh exited the project due to creative differences with Farhan Akhtar. Ranveer allegedly wanted a darker and more violent version of Don, with intense action and stronger language, while Farhan preferred to stay closer to the franchise’s original tone. There were also reports that Ranveer was unhappy with the repeated delays and the script not being finalised.

After Ranveer’s exit, Farhan Akhtar reportedly approached the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). On May 25, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer after claiming he did not respond to multiple requests to explain his side. Meanwhile, Excel Entertainment has reportedly demanded Rs 45 crore from the actor as compensation for pre-production losses.

Ranveer’s spokesperson later released a statement saying the actor does not want to fuel speculation and believes such professional disagreements should be handled privately.
