In a strongly worded social media post, she questioned the timing of his participation in a football session with youths in Gangtok, held during the state’s 50th statehood celebrations.

Kunickaa, born on 27 February 1964, is a veteran Indian actress, singer, and producer who has recently reinvented herself as an advocate and social activist. She also regained public attention as a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, where her outspoken nature and candid revelations about her personal life made headlines.

In her post, she expressed disappointment over what she described as “photo-op” style engagements. She contrasted the Prime Minister’s event in Sikkim with the ongoing situation in Manipur, which has been facing prolonged ethnic tensions and governance challenges.
