Bhojpuri and television actress Monalisa recently found herself at the centre of separation rumours after appearing on the reality show The 50 with her husband Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. The couple’s frequent disagreements on the show led some viewers to speculate that their marriage might be in trouble.

After her eviction, Monalisa addressed the rumours and dismissed any talk of divorce. She explained that disagreements are natural in any relationship and should not be mistaken for signs of separation. According to her, what audiences see on television is often shaped by perception and editing.

The actress also responded to comments from viewers who described Vikrant as toxic or overly critical. She said that people are entitled to their interpretations but insisted that her husband’s intentions were misunderstood. Monalisa clarified that Vikrant was trying to guide her and help her present herself as a strong competitor on the show rather than appear weak.

She emphasised that their bond remains solid and pointed out that they have been together for 18 years. Nothing of that sort, she said, could come between them.

Monalisa and Vikrant’s relationship has long been in the public eye. The couple tied the knot inside the house of Bigg Boss 10 in a ceremony that became one of the most talked-about moments of the season. In an earlier conversation with media , she revealed that Vikrant had spoken to her parents before proposing to her on the show, making the televised wedding even more meaningful.

Known for her role in Jaadu Teri Nazar – Daayan Ka Mausam, Monalisa also shared that she and Vikrant have been trying to start a family for a long time. She said that ultimately it is in God’s hands and expressed hope that their wish will be fulfilled someday.

She admitted she was not familiar with him before entering the show but formed an impression after spending time together in the palace. She remarked that everyone comes into a reality show with their own agenda and a desire to stand out, adding that his personality appeared to reflect someone who had faced challenges before entering the competition.
