The film is helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang.

Aakhri Sawal, starring Sanjay Dutt, is one of the most anticipated films of 2026, generating immense excitement among audiences ever since its announcement. After creating a strong buzz early on, the makers unveiled that the film’s teaser would be released on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Ji Janmotsav, on April 2.

Now, taking the excitement a notch higher, the makers are set to unveil the highly awaited teaser exclusively across PVR INOX screens nationwide. The film is said to be an aspirational story that is rooted in the soul of progressive India, which reflects the inquisitiveness and inner conflicts of the country’s youth. The film is helmed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, who made his directorial debut with a Marathi language drama film titled Picasso in 2021, and received a Special Mention at the 67th National Film Awards ceremony. Over time, he has managed to establish a name for himself with some remarkable films in both Marathi and Hindi cinema genres. Some of his acclaimed works include Deja Vu, Prem Pratha Dhumshan, Piccol, Virtual Reality, etc.

Produced under the banner of Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures, which has executed multiple projects for JioHotstar and other platforms. Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Utkarsh Naithani. The music is composed by Monty Sharma, with lyrics penned by Kumar Vishwas.
