The planned seven-part animated Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, based on the ten avatars (incarnations) of Vishnu, is set to return with its second installment, Mahavatar Parshuraam, following the phenomenal success of Mahavatar Narsimha. Presented by Hombale Films and produced by Kleem Productions, the makers recently unveiled the first glimpse with a thrilling poster that promises nothing less than a visual spectacle in the making.

While the Mahavatar Universe presents Indian grassroots stories, the makers also gave due credit to Vyas Deva and Jaydeva Goswami ji in Mahavatar Narsimha, and director Ashwin Kumar has addressed the same.

When director Ashwin Kumar came across a question, "I noticed that in the end credits, Vyas Dev and Jaydev Goswami ji, their names were mentioned. Why?"

Replying to this, director Ashwin Kumar explained, "See, Ved Vyas ji is the one who has compiled the entire Vedas and Puranas for the evil beings of Kalyug like us. So that these stories of God reach us and you. That's why they are also counted in the 24 avatars of God. Namaste Narsimhaya Praladaladdaye. He has also composed this Aarti.  And the second part of this Aarti, Tabakar Kamalvare Nakha Adbhuddha Shringham. This is composed by Shri Jaydev Goswami ji. And he is also considered to be a great devotee of Jagannath ji. The composition of great poems like Geet Gobind and Gopi Geet has come from his heart. So, they deserve to be credited. And we will continue to give them credit. Sir, sir, your papers."

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Shilpaa Dhawan under the banners of Hombale Films and Kleem Productions. The music is composed by Sam CS.
