The trailer release of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has been postponed, leaving fans disappointed after days of excitement online. The trailer was reportedly scheduled to launch on March 3, 2026, and there was strong buzz on the internet about the big reveal. However, when there was no official update from the makers, director Aditya Dhar, or Ranveer Singh himself, reports began to surface about a last-minute change in plans.

As per reports, the trailer release was delayed due to a Chandra Grahan (lunar eclipse) that occurred on Tuesday. The launch was initially planned for noon, which reportedly fell during the eclipse period. Since many believe that a lunar eclipse is an inauspicious time for new beginnings, the makers decided to postpone the release. Respecting these sentiments, the team avoided unveiling the much-awaited trailer during that time.

Now, reports suggest that the trailer may release digitally on March 5 or March 6 instead. However, fans may not see a grand launch event, as the makers are likely to skip a large promotional gathering and opt for a simple digital release.

The film is backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It is slated to hit theatres on March 19 and will clash at the box office with Kannada star Yash’s upcoming film.

Dhurandhar 2 features an impressive cast including Ranveer Singh, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and R. Madhavan, along with a few new faces.

Well, The first Dhurandhar film was considered one of Bollywood’s biggest hits and reportedly beat Pushpa 2: The Rule to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
