Director David Dhawan is back with another full-on family entertainer as the trailer of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has finally been released. Packed with comedy, romance, confusion, music, and nonstop madness, the trailer promises a complete Bollywood masala ride for audiences of all ages.

The film marks the fourth collaboration between Varun Dhawan and his father David Dhawan, a duo known for delivering entertaining commercial hits over the years. In the trailer, Varun is seen caught in a hilarious love triangle involving Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, leading to a series of chaotic and funny situations.

Apart from the lead trio, the film also features an ensemble cast including Rakesh Bedi, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Rajesh Kumar, and Ali Asgar in important roles.

Speaking about the film, David Dhawan shared that this is his 46th film and entertaining audiences still gives him the biggest joy. He said the movie contains all the elements of a classic family entertainer, including humour, confusion, music, and madness.

The filmmaker also spoke emotionally about his longtime friend Rakesh Bedi. David revealed that their friendship goes back 50 years to their FTII days and that Bedi has worked in many of his films like Hero No. 1, Gharwali Baharwali, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Aankhen. He praised Bedi’s recent success after Dhurandhar and said the veteran actor finally deserves the recognition coming his way even after crossing 70.

Well, Directed by David Dhawan, produced by Tips Films and co-produced by Maximilian Films UK, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is all set to release in cinemas on June 5.
