During the NDTV Summit 2024, Shraddha Kapoor was asked about the possibility of being part of Aashiqui 3. The actress responded that, as of now, she isn’t aware of any plans for her to join the film. However, she expressed her love and appreciation for the Aashiqui series, saying that the film was a turning point in her career. “The story—that's the film where everything changed for me,” Shraddha shared, recalling how much love and recognition Aashiqui 2 brought her.

Although she hasn’t been approached for Aashiqui 3 yet, Shraddha hinted that she would be open to considering it if the makers had something exciting in mind. "If I feel like it is something challenging for me as an actor, something different for me to do, I would be open to it," she said. She believes that if the creators do decide to include her in the sequel, they would come up with a unique and interesting storyline.

Meanwhile, rumors have surfaced that actress Triptii Dimri might star opposite Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Interestingly, Triptii and Kartik will also be seen together in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee.

While fans wait for more updates on Aashiqui 3, Shraddha Kapoor is riding high on the success of Stree 2. The horror-comedy, directed by Amar Kaushik, has grossed over ₹600 crore at the box office. The film features a stellar cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Excitingly, Shraddha will also be part of Stree 3, which the makers have already confirmed.
