After nearly five years of legal battles and media scrutiny, Rhea Chakraborty has shared her first post following the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) closure report in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. On March 22, 2025, the CBI filed the closure report, concluding that Sushant's death was a "suicide" and clearing Rhea and her family of all allegations.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34. Initially, there were suspicions of foul play, with accusations of abetment to suicide directed towards Rhea, his girlfriend at the time, and her family. This led to a nationwide media frenzy and a bitter investigation process. The Bihar Police started the probe, but the CBI took over after Sushant's father filed a complaint in Patna, alleging abetment to suicide.

Rhea, who had faced intense media trials, shared several photos from her appearance on the reality show Roadies Double XX. In the pictures, she can be seen wearing a brown leather outfit and posing alongside fellow team leaders Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, and Elvish Yadav. Her post was accompanied by a caption that read, "Watching vote out > = being at vote out."

Rhea’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, issued a statement on March 23, 2025, thanking the CBI for their thorough investigation. He emphasized the suffering Rhea had to endure due to the false narratives circulated on social media and electronic media. The lawyer pointed out that Rhea had been imprisoned for 27 days without any fault.

The CBI’s closure report, which has been submitted to a special court in Mumbai, clears Rhea and everyone named in the two FIRs filed in the case, including her parents and brother. The court will now decide whether to accept the report or order further investigation. Forensic specialists at AIIMS had previously dismissed claims of poisoning or strangling, providing the CBI with crucial findings in the case.

Well, This report marks a significant moment in a case that has captured public attention for years, and for Rhea, it's a long-awaited step towards clearing her name.
