Celebrity MasterChef has been making waves with its star-studded lineup, but there's a major twist on the show! Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar, who made her much-anticipated comeback after four years, has reportedly quit the competition midway due to an arm injury. Dipika had been struggling with the injury, and despite visiting a doctor, she was unable to continue participating in the show due to ongoing pain. This has left a spot open in the competition, and Celebrity MasterChef has found a replacement in the form of popular Bigg Boss contestant Shiv Thakare.

In an interview, contestant Usha Nadkarni confirmed the news of Dipika’s exit and revealed the reason behind her departure. Usha shared that Dipika had returned to the show after consulting a doctor but could not carry on due to her persistent injury.

According to reports , Shiv Thakare will join the show as the first wildcard entry, stepping in to replace Dipika. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers or Shiv himself about this change.

Shiv Thakare first gained attention on Roadies Rising, where he made it to the semifinals. He later went on to win Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2, where his down-to-earth personality won over the audience. His time in Bigg Boss 16 also left a mark, and his friendships with contestants like Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sajid Khan, and Sumbul Touqeer were much appreciated by fans. Shiv has also appeared on other reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.

The current season of Celebrity MasterChef already features stars like Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), and Ayesha Jhulka. Chandan Prabhakar and Abhijeet Sawant have already been eliminated. With Farah Khan, Chef Ranveer Brar, and Chef Vikas Khanna as judges, the competition is intense.

Well, It will be interesting to see how Shiv adapts to the kitchen and whether he can rise to the challenge and give his fellow contestants a run for their money!
