According to recent reports, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are set for an epic box office clash in March 2026. This will be the second time the two will face off at the box office after their clash in 2007 with SRK’s Om Shanti Om and Ranbir’s Saawariya. The two films in question are SRK’s King and Ranbir’s Love and War.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is scheduled to release on March 20, 2026. The movie will release during an important festive season that includes Ramzan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, making it one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, will hit theaters just one day earlier, on March 19, 2026. A source revealed that the film is expected to be released around Eid 2026, marking SRK’s return to an Eid release after the massive success of Chennai Express. The superstar is teaming up with Siddharth Anand for this action-packed film, which promises a new kind of action genre for SRK. The film will also feature SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Munjya star Abhay Verma.

The report also revealed that Shah Rukh will start shooting for King in January 2025. The film will be shot at real locations as well as studio setups to bring a blend of realism to the narrative.
