Businessman Raj Kundra, who has often been in the spotlight for controversial reasons, is facing fresh troubles. Yesterday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on multiple premises linked to Kundra, including locations in Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh. These raids are part of an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering connected to the production and distribution of adult content via mobile applications. Reports indicate that around 15 locations were searched as part of this probe, which seeks to uncover the role of suspects in distributing such content.

Raj Kundra’s legal issues are not new. In 2021, he was arrested in connection with an adult content case. Although he was later granted bail, he has since been under scrutiny for a separate money laundering investigation related to alleged bitcoin fraud. He faced charges under the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act, the Information Technology Act, and sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Adding to the controversy, Kundra’s wife, actress Shilpa Shetty, has frequently been dragged into these matters despite her lawyer’s clarification that there is no connection. Advocate Prashant Patil issued a statement denying any ED raids on Shetty and refuting claims that she is involved in the investigation.

Reacting to the recent developments, Kundra took to Instagram to share a strong statement addressing the ED raids and media reports. He wrote:

"To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let’s set the record straight: I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of ‘associates’, ‘pornographic’, and ‘money laundering’, let’s just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth. In the end, justice will prevail!"

Kundra also criticized the media for repeatedly involving Shilpa Shetty in the controversy. He added, "A note to the media: It’s unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife’s name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries…!!!"

Well, As investigations continue, Kundra maintains his stance of cooperation, emphasizing that sensationalism will not obscure the truth.
