Akshay Kumar continues his winning streak in 2025 with the release of Housefull 5. After impressing audiences with his roles in Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay is back in a comedic avatar, bringing his signature humor and timing to the fifth installment of the beloved Housefull franchise. Housefull 5 is a comedy thriller with a murder mystery at its core, revolving around the death of a billionaire and three imposters who claim to be his heirs, only to become prime suspects. According to the latest reports, Housefull 5 saw a solid growth in collections on its third day (first Sunday), earning Rs 32 crores. This brought the movie’s total collection to Rs 87 crores by the end of its opening weekend. Despite the strong performance, it fell short of the much-anticipated Rs 100 crore mark, which many were expecting.

Here’s the breakdown of Housefull 5’s box office collections:

Day 1: Rs 24 crores

Day 2: Rs 31 crores

Day 3: Rs 32 crores

Total Collection: Rs 87 crores

While the weekend collections were impressive, Housefull 5 couldn’t surpass the Rs 100 crore milestone, unlike some of its competitors. However, it still managed to record the second-highest Day 3 (first Sunday) collection of 2025, trailing only Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which earned Rs 48.5 crores on Day 3.

In an interesting move, producer Sajid Nadiadwala revealed that the film will have multiple different endings in theaters. "Every theatre will have a different killer," he said. "If you watch it at Gaiety, you’ll see one killer, at Galaxy, there’ll be another, and so on." This unique twist aims to make Housefull 5 an unforgettable experience for viewers.
