Gaurav Khanna emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 19, with the grand finale airing on December 7. His victory was widely celebrated by fans, but it also sparked a lot of debate on social media. Many people claimed that Gaurav won the reality show because of his fame and alleged strong association with Colors TV. Some even said that he was favored because he is a popular face of the channel.

Addressing these claims, Gaurav Khanna spoke openly in a conversation with popular Media Journalist . He firmly dismissed the allegations and said that his win was the result of years of hard work and his performance on the show, not favoritism. Gaurav said, “People say I won because I am famous, but I have really worked hard. Twenty years of hard work is no mean feat.”

He also clarified that he has not been associated with Colors TV for a long time. “I have not been a Colors face for the last 15 years. My last show on Colors TV was Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam with Yami Gautam, which aired in 2010,” he explained. He added that if people still think in 2025 that he is a Colors face after doing just one show with the channel 15 years ago, then it only proves how strong his impact has been.

Gaurav further said that no one wins Bigg Boss just because of their background or past work. “There are no free lunches. I won’t just win a show because of my pedigree or body of work. I also have to perform well in it,” he said.

Talking about his journey inside the Bigg Boss house, Gaurav shared that he never entered the show to compete with others. He knew that being a long-time television actor would make him a target. “People will shame you, defame you, and try to pull you down,” he said. However, his main goal was self-growth. He described Bigg Boss as a very intelligent game that needs to be played smartly and added that he was not there to please the 15–16 people inside the house.

Well, Gaurav Khanna took home the Bigg Boss 19 trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, proving that consistency, experience, and smart gameplay truly matter.
