Popular YouTuber and social media star Elvish Yadav is making headlines once again—this time not just for his performance on Laughter Chefs 2, but for taking a stand in support of his co-star, Jasmin Bhasin. Recently, a comment made by Jasmin during the show sparked major backlash from Elvish’s fans, who started trolling her online. However, Elvish stepped in quickly to calm things down.
The controversy began during a recent episode of Laughter Chefs 2, where Jasmin jokingly told Elvish, “If you have to come daily from Gurgaon taking early morning flight, you better quit the show and give a worthy person a chance.” While the comment seemed to be made in jest, it didn’t sit well with many of Elvish’s fans, who took it as an insult and began trolling Jasmin heavily on social media.
Seeing the hate Jasmin was receiving, Elvish took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to address the issue. He wrote,
“Hey guys, let's chill out! There's been a misunderstanding about Jasmin's statement because it's not the full video. We're actually good friends, and I don't want any hate towards her. Let's focus on spreading love and positivity instead.”
His appeal was an effort to calm his fans, many of whom had posted angry messages online. One fan had even written, “Jasmin ko ab hum nahi chhodenge... ab bohot der ho gyi Elvish Bhai... System hang kardenge uska.” Another said, “Good friends aise nhi bolte ki layak ko kaam karne do... log apko use kar rahe h aur popularity khatam hote he ignore karengy, time par sambhal jao.”
Elvish’s response shows maturity and his commitment to keeping things positive among his fanbase.
On the work front, Elvish Yadav rose to fame after winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, hosted by Salman Khan. He is currently one of the gang leaders in Roadies XX and continues to entertain fans with his charm and humor on Laughter Chefs 2.
