In a heartfelt moment inside the Bigg Boss 18 house, Karan Veer Mehra opened up about his personal struggles and his bond with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In one of the latest episodes, Karan shared a deeply emotional story that left many viewers moved.

During a one-on-one conversation with a journalist, Karan revealed his battle with alcoholism and how Sushant played a crucial role in helping him overcome it. Reflecting on their bond, Karan said, “Sushant helped me a lot. My career was at a low point. He was an engineering student, so he kept his points clear-cut and methodical. He even planned his life meticulously, envisioning where he wanted to be in the next five years.”

Karan further shared how Sushant not only provided emotional support but also went out of his way to introduce him to industry contacts, offering valuable guidance during one of the most challenging phases of his life.

The bond between the two was more than just friendship. Karan described Sushant as family, recalling how close the late actor was to his mother. “Sushant used to visit my home, sit on the floor, and eat with my family,” Karan said. He praised Sushant’s disciplined nature, which he believes was one of his defining qualities.

When asked if he ever sensed that Sushant might have needed help, Karan said, “No, I didn’t feel that he needed help. It was a major shocker when it happened. He was a very sorted guy. He had a diary where he listed the names of 10-12 directors he wanted to work with. By 2012 , he had already worked with 8-9 of them.”

Well, Karan also shared how deeply the news of Sushant’s passing affected him and his family. “When I heard about it, I was in Delhi. I was shell-shocked. My mother, my sister, and I didn’t talk to each other for three hours, unable to process what had happened,” he revealed.

Sushant Singh Rajput, known for films like Kai Po Che, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, and Chhichhore, was found dead in his Bandra apartment in June 2020.
