Bigg Boss 18 has been creating headlines with its intense drama and controversies, and a recent incident involving contestant Karan Veer Mehra has sparked a heated debate. During a chaotic task, Karan sustained facial injuries while trying to stop fellow contestant Rajat Dalal. The incident became a major talking point in the house and among viewers, drawing sympathy from both contestants and fans.

However, this incident also brought back bitter memories for Umar Riaz, a former Bigg Boss 15 contestant, who took to social media to express his frustrations about perceived favoritism by the show’s makers.

In an Instagram story, Umar shared his disappointment, accusing the Bigg Boss team of bias. Referring to the attention Karan’s injuries received, he wrote, “Face injury bollocks! I wish I could have shown my forehead scars during my task. I am sure the channel didn’t show, coz I was never their nepo child!” Umar concluded his statement with a middle finger emoji, leaving no doubt about his discontent.

The term “nepo child” seemingly hints at Umar’s belief that the show favors contestants with influential backgrounds or connections, sidelining others.

Karan’s injury also received public support from actor Vivian Dsena, who highlighted how injuries can be especially troubling for actors. This support, however, appears to have fueled Umar’s frustrations further, as he recalled not receiving similar backing during his time in Bigg Boss 15.

This week, the house faces growing tensions with eviction nominations including Karan Veer Mehra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Chum Darang, Shrutika Arjun, Chaahat Pandey, Yamini Malhotra, Rajat Dalal, and Digvijay Rathee. Contestants are not only battling tasks but also navigating interpersonal conflicts as competition intensifies.

Well, Umar’s statement has reignited discussions about alleged bias in Bigg Boss. His accusations shed light on long-standing claims of favoritism in the show, with many wondering if this controversy will influence its viewership or prompt a response from the makers.

For now, fans remain divided, and the drama in Bigg Boss 18 shows no signs of slowing down.
