In an interview with Popular media house , Karan candidly shared his thoughts on his relationship with Chum. He admitted that they like each other but emphasized their desire to let the relationship grow naturally outside the house. "The relationship outside the house is influenced by so many things. There are so many points of view also. So it will grow organically," he said.

When asked about Chum hinting that she might be waiting for a proposal, Karan explained his cautious approach. "Main toh waise bhi khud ko second-hand jawaani bolta hoon," he joked, adding that he doesn’t want Chum to face undue scrutiny. "Abb jo rishta aagey badhega, usne aise nahin dekha hoga ki ladki par ungliyaan uthhey. Main bhi daraa rehta hoon ki kisi ladki ko effect na ho. Usey bhi ready rehna hoga [I don't want Chum to be in a position where she is subjected to mean remarks. She needs to be prepared.]"

Regarding the timing of a proposal, Karan said he wants the moment to be special. "Main eik achchha moment create karna chahta hoon. 'Naa' nahin hona chahiye na... Phir Twitter par log bolengey...," he quipped, hinting at his humorous side that fans adore.

Both Karan and Chum had remarkable journeys on the show. While Karan won hearts with his wit, emotional quotient, and charm, Chum impressed fans with her resilience and warmth, earning a spot in the top five.
