Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar has shown her support for her Badhaai Do co-star Chum Darang, who is currently a contestant on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 18. Chum recently shared a heartfelt post on Instagram about her experience working on the film, which touched on important social issues through its portrayal of a lavender marriage.

In the post, Chum expressed her gratitude for being part of Badhaai Do, which released in 2022. Sharing a series of stills from the film, she wrote:

“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Badhaai Do. Working with such a talented and dedicated team has been an incredibly enriching experience."

She also thanked the production house, Junglee Pictures, as well as the film’s director, producers, and writers. “The journey of bringing this story to life was truly special, and I am proud of the work we have done together. The film’s message is close to my heart, and I am thankful for the chance to contribute to such an important and impactful project," Chum wrote.

Bhumi Pednekar, who played Chum’s love interest in the film, took to the comment section to cheer her on. “Chum rooting for you," Bhumi wrote, showing her support for her former co-star.

Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, Badhaai Do is a spiritual sequel to the 2018 hit film Badhaai Ho. The movie also stars Rajkummar Rao, Gulshan Devaiah, Sheeba Chaddha, and Seema Pahwa, and was praised for its bold storytelling and social message.
